BFG KM2 or Cooper STT MT
Deciding between these 2 tires, anybody have any feedback? Looking at 37x12.5r17. I hear BFG run small, what about the Coopers?

I had the km2's for 40,000 miles. They did great in rocks, decent in mud. I was never really impressed doing hill climbs in loose dirt, and not good in snow. I know have stts and love them. Awesome in all categories. This is my second set if stts. As you can see in the picture the Cooper is quite a bit larger.

Been running cooper discover stt/mt for couple years now. Work great in all conditions mud/snow/rain. Cant say much about rocks. Only do minor rocks but they have proved themselves on the rocks i have done. No problem with balanceing. Cant say how true to measurement they are, never measured.
Use to run km2s but priced themselves out of my pocket. So for a good all around M/T that is very resonably priced i would suggest the cooper. i will buy again. By the way i run 35/12.5/17.

I'm on my 3rd set of km2's. Great on the rocks - deep snow, and great flex when aired down. Was able to get 55k on the first set with plenty of tread left - took a nail in the side wall
My 37's measure out to 35.5 when mounted on my jeep - factoring in squish

BFG KM2's are a proven tire. Good ride, fairly quiet for a mud terrain and they wear outstanding. Yes, they run a little small but so do many other tires on the market. I saw this pic of the new Cooper next to the well used KM2 which is not a good comparison. If the KM2 was new like the other tire the size difference would not be that significant.

I have the Cooper's in 37" size. I love them!! They sing a little but nothing obnoxious. They balanced easily and ride smooth. I'm running about 27-28lbs in them. I have almost 35K on mine and have no doubt I'll hit 50K before replacing them and I will be getting another set.

Thanks for the opinions, seems most on the East coast are happy with the Coopers but guys on the West want KM2's. one thing I noticed is I can buy 5 Coopers for price of 4 KM2's.
