I wanted duratracs and went with Kelly safari TSRs. They are pretty much the same exact tire when u compare them. The TSRs are about $100 cheaper a tire. Kelly is made by goodyear as well.

Take a look at the BFG Rugged Terrains, they were just released this month. I just had these installed this week.

I've had BFG at's on 3 or 4 different vehicles. Great tire everywhere but deep mud.
Probably be running them now except my wife wanted a tire with tread on the side, and since we only have use for an all terrain,(and she makes the payments), Duratracs got the nod.

I ran both. The goodyears are wayyy better than the BFGs in the mud. But, other than that, they are both superior in dry/wet/snow/ice.

I've had my Duratracs for about two weeks now and I absolutely love them. My jeep is my DD, so I didn't want to get a MT tread. The Duratracs are a true all terrain tire. They are quiet, not much heavier than the stock tires I had on, and I don't have a big drop in my mpgs. Oh yeah, and they look wicked! I don't have any experience with BFGs, so I'm not about to speak negatively about them. Just tellin you why I dig my Duratracs so much.

I've had both... Had 32" BFG AT's and now am running 35" dura's. I would get the Duratracs. The ride quality is better an they are better off road. You have the best of both worlds with these tires, and the price is right too..

I beg to disagree on that one. A radial out-performs a bias-ply in every way imaginable. There is less heat build up in the sidewalls, better flex in the sidewalls, less rolling resistance (better gas milage), and less air pressure required for the same performance. The way they flex on pavement under load is very different.
