better tires
well i am tired of getting stuck with my all terrians
i have extreme all terrains from procomp and as they are great on the road they suck in the nj slop.
i am looking at Pit Bull Rockers. i know they are bias ply but these will prob be my offroad set only.
any other opinions on tires like these or of the Pit Bulls themselves

The Pitbuls are pretty cool, But if I had the chance to buy an off-road only tire
The TSL's would be my only choice.
One time in particular stands out in my mind...
A stock 90's model S-10 4x4 in a empty (harvested) field, buried up to the frame...
The Swamper's dug down... found a hard spot... and we drove right out.
The guy behind us had generic M/T's (Courser I think) and had to pulled out by a tractor.

The Iroks are superior to the TSL's in most cases. But if its mostly mud only, go with the TSL's. I have been running TSL's for many years on my other Jeeps, and I love them. The Iroks have a better compound, as well as more biting edges. So they excell in areas where the TSL isnt quite as good. However, the Irok is limited as far as smaller sizes go.
Since you are running 16" wheels, you choices are a lot more limited for both when compared to a 15" wheel. Be sure to go to Interco's website (intercotire.com) and look at the actual sizes of each tire.

i have noticed that i am limited to the size of the rim. it wouldn't matter to me the rim size cause i will prob have to buy new rims. 15 or 16 inch and alloy of some type. haven't had much luck with steel wheels balancing well.
as for just mud, there is allot of sand here also and hopefully snow.
this is going to be a christmas present to myself so the more opinions the better
this sight rules!!!!!

If you may be in snow, go with the Irok, it does a lot better in the snow. As for steel wheels not balancing as well, that really wont matter if you run a bias ply tire. As most tire shops will not balance a TSL or the like. I have never run any weights on mine, because no shop here will balance them. And steel wheels have a safety bead, so you can air down lower without a risk of blowing off the bead. And they endure abuse better.
