Default Bestop Underseat Storage box for a 2011- ->

Wondering if anyone has made the Bestop Underseat Security box work with the "Easy Access Drivers Seat" of if any of the other security boxes work...

Thanks! No really.. THANKS!! For sharing and for JK-Forum/Project-JK. Seeing the experiences you have out in the open country has changed my view on life.. And, um... that American Honey.. Oh lord, do I love that!!

That said...

Yes, the Tuffy Security Deck for 2011 is a nice piece. I have some parts from the Bestop FlexaTrunk I had in my 2008, that I think I can scavenge to recreate the Tuffy Security Deck. I tote a lot of high-buck camera gear and ordered a Trek Top Nx.. so some sort of security is mandatory.

I don't think the Tuffy box is compatible with the tumble front seats though..

From Tuffy's website...

Fits:
Jeep Wrangler JK, 07-10, 2 & 4-door models WITHOUT the flip forward feature
Jeep Wrangler JK 11-Current 4-door models

I am a 2 door..

I don't need to store a huge amount of stuff under the seats.. just some small personal items.

If that's the case, I would recommend a Security Console Insert #276-01 or a Security Glovebox #149.

Sorry to hijack but will these two items work with the 2012s?

Any plans on doing an underseat box for the 2012s?

The #149 Glovebox and the #276 Security Console Insert will work great with the 2012 models - both 2 door and 4 door. The Conceal Carry Drawer is an easy install in the 2012 4 doors, but because of all the bracketry under the Easy Access Seat in the 2 door, we simply don't have enough room to work with under there. I highly recommend the Console Insert for you - its secure and the console still looks stock!
