Wow, that's a great design!
Question: Can this stay on your JK even when the hard top is completely removed? It could be an "interesting" way to have a bit of a safari top. Haha

while I am not 100% sure I would say no. It rests on the hard top and molds around it and there are brackets that secure it to the hard top. I will have to look more carefully next time I pull it off but seems lie it would not be stable without the hard top in place. It has a nice solid mounting system that is very OEM.
