Default Bestop Soft Doors-OWNER INPUT

Before anyone says it, i did the search and couldnt find much info from owners.

Ok, Spring is right around the corner and im interested in picking up a set of these for my two door. at the cost of $400 plus change, is it worth the buy? from what i have read, they leak pretty bad and i know that i wont be able to keep all the water out, AM I GOING TO BE SOAKED IN A STORM?

My main reason for getting these is the convenience of being able to keep them in my jeep all the time. I figure i will have the top down, doors off alot more if i could just put them on real quick.

Anybody who OWNS a set please chime in and give me any and all info

I have a set but have only got to run them for a week before putting the hard doors back on.
I can see where they will leak but once you "fit them" bending here and there they should not be too bad. I got them for the same reason, something I can throw in the back and put on when needed.

I was not happy with the set I had for my 2dr. They really didn't serve much purpose. Leaked, Loud, etc. Better to just go doors off or put the hard doors on. I was unhappy with the quality. I had trouble with the "latch" on the passenger side and they generally didn't fit well.

Have em. Loud as hell and leak like civs. They also separate at the top when you are at highway speeds. They keep MOST rain out though and I just use em for that when I am riding with doors off all summer. Easy to toss in the back.

I have them and I love them. They are not something you buy and slap on and go. Doing this they will leak a bit and be floppy on highway speeds. If you are willing to take the time to bend and fit them proper they are great. Took me almost 3 hours and a few minor adjustments since to make them fit right. I can now drive down the highway at 65 and no flapping. They need to be adjusted for a tight fit.

They are louder than stock doors but I expected that, they are waterproof in the rain but not if you go through water on a trail. They are great to throw in the back and throw on if you need them.

I think if you get them with the expectations that they are not stock doors you will be fine. If you buy them thinking they will be quiet and completely waterproof you will be disappointed.
