Hey Mark,
I have looked at the OR Fab, Warrior and of course own the Element doors. From my perspective it was clear that the marketing people did their homework and the go price on tube doors was $300 frogskins. Personally I would have been willing to pay more for a bigger set of tubes, powder coating as opposed to paint and better latching mechanisms. That of course might not have been a marketing reality for any company that had intent on mass producing them.
So that's how my opinion was formed and I have to assume that the companies building them already figured out that a $400 or $500 set of tube doors would have been a market failure. Just the same this is one guy who would have been a lot happier and as unfortunate as it might be a little lighter in the wallet.

One of the generic issues is that you have to adjust the Jeep door latch striker to eliminate possible rattle.. This forces you to re-adjust to accommodate the stock door. This is not a tube door issue as such...
Hence all the innovative tricks are welcome items to be shared here...
p.s Let's be happy there is quite a choice in tube doors..

I'm making a set for my gf's jk. I've made a few sets already for Toyota's. The single key to eliminating rattle in the use of a factory style latch mechanism.
I generally use 1.5" HREW tubing, anything smaller just looks like a toy IMO.

I like the roughshod offroad ones in JP mag this month.
Their website is just http://www.roughshodoffroad.com/ (is it ok to post that?)
