Hey Everyone,

I know steering box braces have been discussed in various threads, but I wanted to ask, for those who have installed steering box braces, what is your take on them?

I have a stock JK, no lift, so I am limited to one of these:

1 - The Rocksolid Performance steering box brace and track bar.
2 - The JKS heavy duty bracket with front chassis brace connector (Note: JKS sector shaft brace will not work with stock JK's).
3- The ORE sector shaft brace.

Thanks for your advice,

Thanks for the feedback thunderball. I will post back in a couple weeks with who I went with, including a review of the part based on my experience.

JKS will not work with Stock Suspension...Rocksolid has sent me two faulty steering sector Nuts that will not make up onto the Sector Threads...EVO looks like the only way to go?

EDIT: EVO will only work with a dropped Trackbar Bracket as well, so it will not fit a Stock JK either! Rocksolid also has to have a dropped Tracking Bar...

Would like to know myself and hear some input from experienced Jeepers....

I spoke to RSP about one for the exact same thing and was told this.... "We are only a couple of weeks away from finishing the new design which should fit almost all track bars, stay tuned."

I know this is an old thread, but why put a brace in a stock situation?
I have seen shafts break on bigger tires (not fun)...

I'm running 35's with 2.5-3 inches of lift, so no drop pitman arm. It's like a condom for your stearing selector. $100 bucks is worth the safety to me, plus I'm seeing more "my stearing box is leaking" threads.

so get on it Rancho...hurry up and take my money....LOL

Ha! I get it on lifted/bigger tires. But the OP wanted for a stock set up, and I haven't heard (truthfully paid attention to leaky PS parts on a stock set up). Will now pay attention to this...
