I went with the Teraflex rock rails because of the step feature since my wife is so short and I also liked the idea that they were aluminum so they are lightweight.

Can you jack up your JK from the Ace rail?
Does it flex?

Just worried about having only 2 points of contact.

I went with the Fab Fours Rock Slider on my 2012 JaKe based on past use of their product. Their slider is as solid a slider as you can ever get bar none......thickness.....fit and finish.....attaching hardware.....and the look as well....i'm pleased with it......the width of the step is approximately 3 inches......I rarely need to use it for a step to get in......even with the 4" lift......I put my foot on the floorboard and grab the "Oh shit" handle and jump in......There are a few Sliders out there to choose from.........

Poison Spider has a nice one:
Jeep JK 2 Door Sliders | Jeep JK Rocker Protection | Jeep JK Rocker Sliders | Jeep JK Rocker Armor | JK Rocker Knockers | Poison Spyder

Shrockworks as well:
Jeep JK Rock Sliders - Jeep JK Rock Rails - Rocker Protection

Do your own due diligence and pick the one that suits your needs.....looks....and price.

I hope this helps you a little

Rock on

If you like rust and incomplete welds, go for the ACE rock rails! Mine are rusting to crap and are still new. I have only 3000 miles on my 2012 rubi and its stored inside both at home and at work.

Dumb question but are the stage 2 sliders the rocker panel and steps or do you have to buy stage 1 and 2 to get both? The web sight info is somewhat confusing in this area?
