Just ordered a set of the Ace because the wife and kids have a little trouble climbing in. I did not want step rails so these seemed like a good compromise. I have not received them yet so i really cannot comment on functionality but based on reading stuff on this and other sites they should be great.

Not to hijack, but how long does it take to get the Ace rails. I ordered a week ago and have not received a shipping notification.

Took mine a couple weeks to get the shipment email. Depends on 2 or 4 door. Once I had the shipping invoice it was only a few days. Received one on a Thursday the next on that Friday. Lol
When I called they had a bunch finish welded and another bunch at the powder coat. So I think they have them fabed up it just depends on the powder coat.

I have the Mopar Enhanced Rock Rails and the wife doesn't like them because they don't stick out far enough and they scrape the back of her legs getting out. How far do the ACE rails stick out from the frame? I may need to sell the Mopar and get the ACE. Here are the Mopar Rail measurements from the frame measured at the seam below the rear door (Pic #1) and the front door (Pic #2).

I have the body armor rock rails. Not only do they work well they are also great protection from errant doors in parking lots.

MBRP they come with removable steps and are beefy. The steps come off in about 10 minutes flat. I'm actually going to be pulling mine and selling then for the exact reason this thread was started. I don't use or need the steps they've been in my basement and are sprayed with bedliner looking brand new. I just don't have a need for them.

ACE for me - ridiculously easy install, well made and pretty inexpensive for the quality.
