Cheap and good quality tire...MasterCraft Courser C/T's 265/75/16 you'll pay about 140-160 per tire. I have used them for the past 2 years and have tons of tread left. They are great in the snow and are even predrilled for ice spikes. Well worth looking into!

I'm really liking the GY Duratrac but the BFG AT is pretty comparable price wise. I have a little time before I buy these. Anybody want a set of decent shape sahara Alloys with Duelers (7000 miles) on them to fund my new tires for the steelies.

Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor's ride great, are quiet, have the severe snow rating, and do well off road in anything other than thick mud. I've had 3 sets of these tires I liked them so much. The first set got 60,000 miles, the 2nd had 36,000 when I traded that vehicle in on the Wrangler, and my liberty has a set with 30,000 on them right now.

I will add my vote for BFG AT's, I have them on my TJ now, great traction in rain and snow, have 30k on them and only worn less than half. I do all my driving on pavement in the DC area
