Default Best riding 3.5-4" lift spring

The Jeep has a 3.5" Rock Krawler Xfactor kit. Hoping to soften the ride up a bit for everyday road driving.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Dan

Triple rate or linear coils? Which shocks? Tire type, size and psi? Steering correction? CA drop brackets?

I'm not 100% surethane but they don't appear to be triple rate springs. King 2.5" shocks. BFG 35's at about 33psi.

Whag do you mean by steering correction and CA drop brackets?

Try lowering your psi to 28. Drop brackets relocate your front control arms down from the frame minimizing the angle of travel, bringing it closer to stock, which could soften your ride.

Steering correction can be the same situation as the drop brackets, lessening the angles could possibly improve the ride.

As noted, with taller lifts, the control arms are angled up instead of at a more flat (stock) angle, and both the trackbar and drag link are also angled up instead of flat. Road imperfections can travel straight up all of those bars into the frame. Reading a few threads on both might be worth a few minutes of your time, at least let you form an opinion as to whether they could improve the issues you are feeling.

Best riding springs I've ever had were Metalcloak, RK, and Synergy, If you feel your ride is to firm now with the RK's, I suggest looking into changing the valving in those King shocks.

Dan, How old is the kit on your jeep roughly?
