Default Best Ride Spring options

What are the best riding springs for road comfort and flexing on the trail?
I currently have the Rough Country 4" springs and they're like riding a brick on road and don't articulate well on the trail.
I'm looking for 3 to 4" springs.

I just switched from 4" Rough Country to the 3" Synergy. The ride is night and day difference. The Jeep sits at exactly the same height with the 3" springs. I also switched the shocks from RC to Fox IFP's at the same time. I couldn't be more happy with the upgrade.

Think it was coils or shocks giving you the shitty ride?

Probably a combination of both. The RC is not a bad lift for money. On the road it's really stiff and the ride comfort is not good. Off road I thought it did really well and flexed out nicely. The Synergy lift on the other hand is smooth and plush on the road. The on road ride is just as good as my wife's Tahoe. I just put it on 2 weeks ago so I haven't had it off road yet.

Is it the shocks or the springs that are giving you a bad ride. I have heard people who run the RC coils with a high quality shock like the Rancho RS9000 and are very happy with it. For the money RC isn't too bad of a kit. If you're dead set on new springs, look into either a Rock Krawler or Teralfex lift.

Both brands ride great, and we can hook you up with an awesome price. Shoot me a PM and I'll get you a quote for which ever kit you're looking for.

I have the pro comp stage 2 4" with the cheaper shocks and rides like crap. Installing some fox or bilsteins and putting the synergy drag link flip to get rid of the bump steer. Will be doin the flip kit first so ill let you know how it turns out, and also when I do the shocks. Heard that pro comp COILS aren't too bad.
