Check out the Or-Fab, you don.t need to change the bumper if you don.t want to.

At this point I'm deciding between the or-fab and teraflex, I'd prefer the one that is easier to install. Anyone have a comparison between installation?

Don't tread on me.

Or-fab is a pita to install but really nice when you get done. Teraflex has a vid on their install and it looks really simple. Or-fab gives you more options to mount things onto, weld, clamp etc. Teraflex is attached to your tailgate so it is a one step process, instead of opening the tire carrier then the tailgate.

I too have the OR-Fab. This is the best mod I have gotten for my Jeep in a while. I got the jerry can version which is great for wheeling and camping. I can carry 10 gallons of fuel, 10 gallon of water, or 5 of each!

Also, it looks awesome!

I love my Or-fab, but install requires drilling a hole in the rear quarter panel near the tail light. Install is straight forward with good instructions, but not sure its as simple as the teraflex one.

That said, if I had to do it all over again, I would still do Or-fab. I like the versatility it offers. With the Jerry Can version, I got the rotopax mounting plates so I can carry any combo of Jerry cans or Rotopax one can dream of.

OR FAB is very involved with installation. I love it though. If you install it by yourself plan for a long, aggravating day. It's a tight fit for a lot of things but you want that so that there are no rattles.

Terraflex isn't "flexible" like the OR FAB is. You can have it up against the tailgate, Rotopax mounts, or jerry can mounts.

I've gotten stopped a lot in town by people asking about the carrier. In the end, it's all about your style.

PS: if you get the jerry can one start looking for them ASAP. It took me two months to find decent ones in Anchorage. I wasn't going to buy the new manufactured ones, they are way too flimsy. I wanted the old-school steel ones.
