Best offroad mods but stil good for daily driving

Haha I'm in the same position you are in man, I just bought a 2011 2d cept mine is red! It's my daily driver aswell so I've been researching about the damage mods do on gas mileage as well. I have not done any mods to my jeep yet but I am very excited to begin. (just got a promotion )

Best MPG getter out there is to keep the factory rake. It's not popular but if you keep the back of the jeep 1" - 2" higher than the front you will see 2-3MPG increase vs leveling the jeep out with most lift kits.
My 2 cents

Mag Light mod
This mod isn't going to affect your JK's performance but it sure will come in handy while on the trail at night or just camping, or just whenever!

I've done this to both the Driver and Passenger side and never regretted it.

Hey fellow yellow! I would start by figuring out your ultimate use and type of terrain you want to wheel on. And then search and look through the thousands of Jeep pics on the web and compile your faves and why you like them and what mods they've done. This will be your inspiration towards your build. As far as mileage, heavy bumpers, winch, over sized tires and general extra weight will affect your mileage. I would say best bang for the buck mod is the Superchips Flash pack and second would be re-gear (for anything over 33's). These mods will get you back close to stock mileage, even with extra gear.
