+4 on the Hankooks.

On top of that, they are the cheapest and best mix of both. They are not the best MT on the planet, but WAY better than any other AT and they ride great on the highway. I commute from Tampa to Western NC once a month. I have 40K on mine, they look great and get wheeled hard. They've never let me down. ..did I mention they are cheap?
(a set of (4) 34's on ebay all the time for $800 shipped - you can't beat that)

Thanks for all the input. I have looked at the Hancook's and KM2's but also considering the Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's but haven't seen any feedback on this one?

What about the Dick Cepek Mud Country? They got a great review on the link listed before. Price is not too bad. Anyone running these?

I agree. Had 33x10.5 BFG KM2's on my old TJ and hated to see them go. When the stock BFG's wear out on my JK that's probably what I'll replace them with. Excellent off road tire, and very well mannered and quiet on the pavement.

I have a set of DC Mud Countrys on my 07 Unlimited. They are 285/75/16. I have put 22k on them so far and they are a little more than half worn. They have some road noise but not as loud as my Bronco was with BFG MT KM1's. They self clean good in the red clay mud we have here and do good on the road. They also needed very little weight to balance.

Toyo M/T great off-road tire, great wearing best tire I have had!!, very quiet on the highway and solid sidewall....drawbacks weight and $$$$.

Cooper STT - Similar to the Toyo M/T tread pattern, great off-road quieter than the Toyo M/T on the pavement (Wife Tested), Wearing very well on our JK and good prices.

MTZ's I ran on my CTD...(Torque monster) wore out really quickly and lugs chunked on Forest service Roads. I got 3 times more mileage on my Toyo M/T's on my CTD than the MTZ's. Also, no flat tires or sidewall slices with the Toyo's.
