I realize there are a lot of discussions and opinions on this based on what people have tried but am hoping to get some input on buying some mud terrains. I am wondering which one has offered good on-road handling, especially on wet roads, as well since this is my daily driver. Thx.

Not sure about best but MTZ seem to be very good on road and mud. Maxxis trepador are also awesome along with ProComp Mud Xtreme.

Hankook Dynapro MT....good off road, somewhat aggressive looking, quiet & handles good on road also.

i would second the hankook, they are a great riding tire. the toyo m/t also has excellent on-road manners for what it is. slightly more aggresive than the hankook. if you get the toyos, since you deal with a lot of rain, i would highly recommend having them siped. your tire dealer should be able to do it for you when you buy em.

Good info. I have always wondered about siping and a little nervous about cutting into a good factory tire, does it degrade the lifetime or reliability of the tire?

I am running the Pro Comp Xtreme Mud Terrains and have been very happy with there "road manners". I have also heard good things about the Nitto Mud Terrains, but I have not personally tried them.

i have 35x12.50 Nitto Mud Grapplers and so far no complaints from me

i second this...my top makes more noise then these tires in 35" going 65mph..i cant hear them at all.
