I have the RR ones as well, and yes they were a pain in the ass to get off the original bracket...
Here's what I finally did... soaked it in WD40, took off of door, took to my dad's house and put it in his shop vise. I made sure the mirror would not drop to the ground, stuck a screw driver in the hole and pounded it with a rubber mallet. You must pound downward, otherwise it will never come loose. (at least mine wouldn't.)

Has anyone tried the MOPAR® Mirror Relocation Bracket that is now out (part #102504RR)? They look similar to the Rugged Ridge version. Was wondering if they fixed the passenger side blide spot.

That's weird. The Mopar is part number 102504RR and Rugged Ridge is 11025.04. It looks like Mopar is stocking the Rugged Ridge and you pay a $20 premium for a one year, 12000 mile warranty.

I made the mistake of getting the Rugged Ridge mirror relocators too. They are crap and don't fit the OEM mirrors. I bought the Lange Original Quick Mirror II. They work awesome offroad.

I don't know why yours didn't fit... I have been using the Rugged Ridge brackets for the past 2 years on 2 different JK's with no problems. They are solid, and you don't have to deal with the hassle of sticking the mirrors into the hinges. The liners in my door hinges on my '07 were wearing out and I don't want to keep putting things into the hinges.
