best location of a back up camera
what is the best location for a back up camera? where are they on the newer models that have them? I don't want to put in on the hard top cause sometimes I want to run the soft top. Thoughts suggestions?

Check this out, I will be doing the same on my Jeep soon and install it on the same location, through the stock bumper right above the hitch, that way I can use it to line up my trailer as I back up. If I do get another bumper, I can move it to the new bumper.

The best place for a backup camera is as low as you can go without being below the bumper. Also, you want it centered if possible.
I put mine on my spare tire license plate bracket. I wish it was lower.

My hard top camera is flush mounted into the area above the rear window and is aimed down. My soft top camera is under my receiver hitch. Used to have one that was mounted in the spare tire, but my kids bought me a Led Zeppelin spare tire cover and that meant moving it to other spot.
