i know there must be about 10 threads already on this subject:-)

but i'm planning on selling my 2007 jku rubi and get the 2013 model....

at the moment i have a 3" teraflex lift with king bypass shocks..... but the ride is way to firm on-road and i'm looking to get something that is allot more comfortable....

do you guys have any suggestions? at this moment i'm thinking about an AEV lift with bilstein shock...

cheers
Andy

I originally started out with the AEV 3.5" lift with Bilstein shocks and it was a very comfortable ride.

The Mopar(Rubicon Express) lift kits are very comfortable in my opinion. Coilovers tend to be a little rough unless you get them tuned just right and they will have to be retuned often.

What coilovers have you had experience with? Our Evo spec Kings ride smooth. They also do not need tuned often.

Depending on the valving of the shocks, installing a set of softer coils would help greatly

I have the AEV DS 2.5" with Toyo Open Country MT 35" and really love the ride. It is more stable, but very comfortable as well. I think it is fard to beat the AEV suspension products.
