oh, that's easy as i just took these measurements the other day. i don't have a hard top on right now but, to the top of the windshield frame, i measure 78.5" and to the bottom of the frame rail, i measure 22.75". needless to say, i can fit in my garage without any problems and still do this out on the trail....

not all lifts yield the same amount of lift. some are on the tall side and some are on the short side. sounds to me like you have one that is on the short side of things. or, could be you don't have the correct height bump stop extensions installed.

i have to disagree, the 2.5" gives more than 3" especially on the 2 doors. So it can cause issues

I Definitly got 4 inch's of lift from mine....I just think if you want the flex you will have it with a 4 inch lift. There is nothing wrong with 2.5 or 3 inch lifts, just my thoughts. Everyone has there own opppinion of how they look

for 35's, i would recommend 3" of lift and you will have plenty of flex. trust me, i speak from experience here. pretty much any 3" lift will do the job well or, a 2.5" budget boost and 1" body lift will do the trick too.
I personally think a 4" is the way to go. Easy to clear 35s, I get no rubbing anywhere. As far as the roller skate look, I really don't think it looks roller skatish at all...here is a pic of my lift, and I don't even have a winch yet...

And here is one showing a bit of flex, not even hitting the bumpstops yet...

I mean if you are looking to "clear" 35s with no rubbing, my choice would be the 4, plus you have the added benefit of upgrading to 37s if you see them necessary in the future. And if you are serious about mud you may appreciate the extra height!

I think a nice wide stance and a low cog is the way to go. I've been trying to do as much research as a possible for when I buy my upgraded long arm lift. I want it low with just enough room to stuff some big tires. I plan to ditch the 37's and get 40's eventually.

clearly, we see things differently and that's cool. for me, i look at your pics and i see rollerskate - but, that is just my opinion. as far as rubbing goes, sure you won't have any rubbing with 35's and 4" of lift but honestly, you won't with most 3" lifts either. as far as clearing 37's go with a 4" lift and no fender trimming, i'd like to see you do it without rubbing. trust me, i have tried and couldn't do it even with a tall TF 4" lift.
