Best fuel mileage setup for lifted Jeep on 35's or 37's.. Gear ratio? Mileage?

37 tires, 5.13 gears, 4 inch lift, and I get 17.5-18, wife gets 18.5-19 if I take off spare tire.
I also meticulously maintain my jeep and follow the Jeep Manual tune-ups to the "T." We use middle grade fuel(90 or higher on road trips), swap oil and oil filters in half the recommended swap time.
I got 21-22 when it was stock.
If you read my signature, you can see all the extra weight we have as well. I drive it like a grandma as well.

35x12.5 KM2's Manual, 4.88 gears and a dynomax catback. I get 14-14.5 back and forth to work and 15-15.5 at freeway speeds. I noticed with the new gears I run just over 3k rpm at 75ish mph which drops gas milage to 14. As long as I dont go over 70 mph I get 15.5. I am getting a K&N drop in filter and a river raider snorkel. I am hoping that will give me a little more milage as well.

2011 Sahara. Manual. 3.73. OME 2.5" Hanson medium front bumper with "air dam replacement" / skid. HyLine rear bumper. No spare. Recalibrated speedo. 35x12.5 Goodyear M/T R K at 35psi on-road.

Like others have said, if I am mild and sensible (accelerate mildly, keep rolling through toll readers, 60 - 65mph) on the highway I can get up to 20MPG on flats or downhill. Went to visit a buddy a few weeks ago, filled up as I left town, went up the mountains to Plattsburgh and JUST had the DTE thing begin to say Lo Fuel as I got to the 300 mile mark. According to computer, that ride got me 17.8mpg. Coming back down (and down in elevation) it said I got 19.9mpg but when I filled back up and did the math, it came out to 19.3 and a million decimal places.
I think I'll do the math from now on as something seems screwy with the AVG mpg thing. It's almost as if it has learned an averaging curve over the life of the vehicle. I remember when I first got the Jeep and would reset the AVG MPG while coasting I'd get like 400+mpg until I applied the gas. Now when I do that, It only goes to like 80 for a second or two.

MPG with 50/50 city highway driving

I have 3.73 auto and i travel 65-70 on hwy.
I live in midwest where there is some elevation but mostly flat lands
MPG with 50/50 city highway driving

I have a 2012 JKU, auto trans, 35s and factory 3.73 gears. I get 14.5 mpg. Like someone said hills kill with 3.21 or 3.73 but other than that I couldn't complain, hell it's a jeep

TaylarsJK, you're right. It's a Jeep! If we worried about gas mileage, we'd all have purchased a hybrid Honda. Just use it for what it was made for, fun.
