There was a Jeep here on campus that the voca guys built (a 2004 TJ with like 10k miles) It had no lift and a retarded flag paintjob,,,, but It had a V8, perf springs (eibach I think), bilsteins, and some street tires. They said it did really well.
I personally don't care what people do with their vehicles or how they drive them on private land. When it comes to unsafe driving (to include exceeding the speed rating on the tires) or modifications that make the vehicle unsafe and it is on a public road where everyone has a right to use it and expect to be reasonably safe, thats where I have the problem. Paint your Jeep lilac, lower it, put some go cart wheels on it, blast polka music at full volume, and swap out the engine for a 2 stroke, I don't care, in fact I'll still wave as you drive by. But start doing something that truly endangers those around you, then I have a problem with it. Basically it's a common decency thing for shared motorways.

I dont push it if there is traffic....well thats a lie but I do go fater than most of traffic, because whenever I go at speed limit something bad happens as we speak im uploading a video of me doign 180 mph in my brothers 2006 bmw m5.. you can see I can actually handle autobahn speeds...(you make it sound like im trying to break nurburgring lap record in a jeep, No I just drive it at the limit....lke I do with every car) please dont try to make me sound like a ricer kid who just got a jeep, My mother could sleep in the car while I drove her on a 3 hour road trip, so no terrorising the streets....that smooth as for video you want you will have it..
So lets see you drift when it's not crowded, and push it when there is traffic because it's unsafe for you to drive near other motorist? Gee why would we feel your not a responsible driver? The fact is I have more respect for a "Ricer" because atleast he is "pushing it" in a vehicle more responsive to those driving conditions. Just a typical kid who hasn't learned the hard way how quickly and unexpected a life can change for the worse. I hope you never have to learn it.

When you have to spend 20 minutes trying to find a kid ejected from a car, and the whole time the driver of the car who lost control is sitting on the side of the highway. Then maybe you would know where I'm coming from!

The AEV Nth Degree lift improves the JK's originall roll center making it more stable than stock. It uses offset track bars to do this. But the thing I don't like about that kit is the cam bolts with the stock control arms. If I were installing it, I'd get rid of the cam bolts and go with Terraflex adjustable arms.

Why do you want to lift the Jeep? Based on how you explained your driving habits, the last thing you should want to do is put a lift and larger tires on it I would think.

It's not real popular, but I think for your driving style what you really ought to do is get as wide a rim and tire as you can and larger rims, so you have less rubber, not more. You don't necessarily have to put street tires on it, but I wouldn't do anything more than an AT. 33's and 20s won't win you many friends around here, but considering the start you're off to anyway I don't think that'll matter. lol j/k Seriously though, for the type of driving you want to do I wouldn't lift it at all and just look into beefing up or replacing some of the components already on the JK.

Because we try to look out for each other on this forum. Granted, we don't know each other and probably will never meet, but it still is a human thing to do, looking out for one another.

We don't want to see a JK in a Turkish newpaper that rolled 15 times on the highway for going 100+MPH.
