Best all around tires for stock 33" wheels
I'm interested in putting a lift on the Jeep. Since most of my driving will be highway, I've come to the conclusion that the OME lifts look to be the best option for me. That comes from research here and talking to friends who are religious Jeep owners. I will be ordering that kit next week.
That said, I would like to start exploring offroading as well, and I'd like a more agressive looking tire on my new Jeep. My initial conclusion was the BFG A/T KO's (I was thinking 285/65/18 with my stock wheels), but I'm not sure how good it will look lifted with 33" and the stock wheels. I can't seem to locate many pictures either with the setup I'm considering.
I like the look of the Mickey Thompson ATZ, but can't find many reviews on their highway performance. I'm specifically concerned with snow and rain, as I'm in Ontario.
Any comments? Or other suggestions? I'd love to go to a 35" tire, but since this is mostly highway and my first mod, am concerned about fuel consumption as well as regearing. Maybe a Mickey 275/70/18 is a good compromise, as it's a bit bigger than the BFG 285/65/18?
Any concerns about rubbing with the 33"s?
Thanks in advance. I'm really looking for experienced opinions here, so if I'm completely off the mark, let me know.

I'm in the same boat but I have 17in. rims. I went with Firestone Destination M/Ts and they are incredible off road with great road manners. I had to run spidertrax wheel spacers and 1 3/4 daystar lift because they have quite a bit of tread for a 33. Its a pretty inexpensive set up. Do you have a 2 or 4 door? IMO 33's don't look good on a 4dr. I attached a pic. Sorry I don't have a better shot and this pic was before the dyastar lift.

Im pretty happy with my pro comp Xtreme ATs. They can pretty much hold their own on the trail, and are not too loud on the highway. Plus with a 40,000 mile treadlife guarantee, you can't go wrong.
