My tires are not one of the choices but I love them both on and off road, snow, mud or rocks.

Depends what you need out of your tires.

Personally, I will never get these toyos again. They are fine on the street, very good in the sand but suck in the rocks. Not to mention that they are super heavy so that doesn't help my mileage. I only went with these because they don't make a 37" KM2 for a 15" wheel. That and I got a killer deal on them. ($840 for 4)

None of the above. My vote goes to the Cooper Discoverer S/T. Have over 50k on my current set, good road manners, handles snow really well, relatively quite, no complaints off-road on muddy forest trails and rocks.

I vote Goodyear wranglers silent armors. Great winter traction, very quiet, good offroad ability. I'm sure there are lots of great tires out there, it all depends on what your needs are.

I think no matter what compromises will be made with a single set of tires. Buy a spare set with rims for when you want to go kidding or crawling!

In my case, I would choose a light tire to minimize mpg lost and stress on axles/shafts

Toyos are tough tires, strong sidewalls, durability, but they are HEAVY

I would go with KM2 or MTR

Just to compare, a 37'' toyo is 91lbs and 37'' MTR kevlar is 71lbs

not true. a friend of mine has over 40k on his and has an easy 15 left.

mine have 20k and not even 1/4 gone. the key is to keep up with the 5 tire rotation.

if that were true, who in their right mind would buy them? 10k max would mean less than a year.

I have bfg km2 and I will never go with another tire unless they come out with a new version. Absolutely amazing in mud, sand and rock. I also have 31k on them and they still have about another 15k to go. Tread is still very much in tact.
