I have a 4-DR JK. Which additional roll-cage products do you suggest and why?

i have installed both a rock hard 4x4 and or-fab sport cage and i think you'll find that both are real nice. the or-fab is a bit harder to install but, it does have a clean finish when done and you can get it with floor mounts.

rock hard

or-fab

Thanks, I already bougt the Rock Hard (front and rear), but have been waiting to install it. How hard was that? Is it worth paying a shop $450 to do it, as they want to charge me that much. I think I only need a small electic saw.

it does take some work to install but i don't know if it's worth $450 to have someone else do it. certainly, i wouldn't pay it. the two hardest parts of the install was making sure that the template for the holes is positioned just right. if you're off even by a bit, you will have to do some additional reaming of the holes in order to thread in the bolts. i know several people who botched this and it took quite a bit of effort to address. i took a lot of time to account for the thickness of the metal and tried to predict where everything would be once installed - fortunately, i got it right. the other part that's hard is getting the actually door supports in position. some minor trimming of your dash will most likely be needed on the driver side and, you will most likely need a ratchet strap to help pull everything together. but, you can still get it installed in about a day.
