Best 2" Lift
#21
Hmmm,
How about we analyze what could break because of a 3 inch lift...
1. Drive lines/CV joints (easy replacements about $385 a piece)
2. Shocks (about easy to replace).
3. Track bar mount... That would be the scariest thing I think.
4. Break Lines (If you don't adjust them).
I can't see how they could blame much else on a lift. Anybody?
Oh and my local Dealer in Avondale,AZ has a couple out front with at least 6 inch lifts!

OK. Here goes. Talked to the dealer tonight when i picked up my ruby. I was correct in saying that any mod above 2" would void warranty on any thing RELATED to the lift. (WAYOFLIFE, I highlight for U... LOL) Any thing under 2" and i am covered. The dealer says this is because this is what they were told by DC. I was very compelling in telling him that i couldnt even run35's without rubbing with a 2" LIFT. So he said he would make some calls to DC to see if he could improve the hight amount. We'll see. Im not holdin my breath. And this from a dealer that has there own Camp jeep.
Contrary to what you have been scared into believing, lifting your Jeep 3" or more will not necessarily cause you to have any problems (requiring you to have your Jeep fixed under warranty or otherwise) especially if all the components needed for that height have been installed and installed correctly. Likewise, an incomplete 2" lift or one that is installed incorrectly can and will cause you to have the very problems that you are trying to avoid.
But, in the end, it's your Jeep. I hope you can believe me when I say that I'm just trying to help you understand things more clearly and not be driven to make decisions based on fear.
