I have the tf 2.5" coil life and 5100s.....Very happy with the ride quality and it is my daily driver as well....havnt been offroad yet tho to say how it handles
Ordered from northridge and got the 5100 as a free upgrade as well
I havnt gotten a new trackbar or front lower control arms yet since I feel it handles the same as it did stock. I also ran the stock wheels/tires for a little before mounting my 35s. I am running 1.5" spidertrax spacers
here it was on stock wheels and tires with spacers

I have a 2010 jk islander ... Was looking to do a 2.5" lift with either 33s or 35s . Any pro and cons to either size? AEV 2.5 vs Teraflex 2.5? Never go off-road with my jk so flex is not important, just smooth ride on the road.
Thanks, all help is appreciated

may have been a special when I ordered them, I was originally going to do the same kit from ORW since they were advertising the same thing for $750 shipped but northridge was actually cheaper by 20

just to clear this up, it sounds like you will be using stock wheels and stock tires for a while until you get new 15 inch wheels and tires, right? If so, you do not need to buy wheel spacers to run stock wheels. When Teraflex says that you need wheel spacers to run stock wheels, they are assuming you are using larger tires. I would just run your stock wheels and tires without spacers for now until you get new tires and wheels

The Bilstein 5100's seem to be a good balance for on-road. I had the AEV 2.5" lift installed and it came with the adjustable track bar, but I also had the shop do the front control arms at the same time. My Jeep is like yours...lots of on-road. This is a very good setup....and a HUGE improvement over the stock Sport suspension. I can't say enough good things about it because I literally loathed the way it was riding before. Well worth the money spent.

I just installed the Old Man EMU and all I can say is, "WOW"! I installed the 2.5 inch springs and Nitrocharger shocks. With it, front and back JKS track bars and front upper/lower control arms. I also swapped the sway links from back to front and installed the JKS sway links in the rear.
I haven't taken her offroad yet, but on-road, it's very smooth and absorbs the bumps/dips very well.
Just my 2-cents!
