Default Best 2.5" lift setup for dd best ride comfort 12' 2dr rubi'. Helppp

ive looked at all the threads on the site regarding 2.5' lift kits and im sorry cause im anal with this shit. ive narrowed my coild lift to the TF 2.5 coil lift and will also be purchasing the crown brake lines because who doesnt want red brake lines.

my jk is 90% dd and 10% everything else but rarely to none crawling.

first question is i can buy the TF shocks with the package and im not sayin there terrible but i would rather have a better shocks for a smoother ride and buy them now so im done. (one and done for this guy) the shocks below ill be chosing from northridge so please give me your choices for best and softest ride with my lift

old man emu Nitrocharger Sport Shock Absorber

old man emu Nitrocharger Shock Absorber

teraflex 9550 shock (comes with lift)

fox 2.0

bilestein 5100

also while searching the threads to get the best ride i saw that i should maybe change out the front track bar and possibly the lower front and rear control arms and just adjustable ones i would assume i wouldnt have to get long ones (was thinking of sticking to the TF brand)

and last to not least i will be doing my lift first and tires later. i currently am still running my stock 32''s and the TF lift says ill need wheel spacers if im running the stock wheels. so my question is do you know what size spacer and if i can run them on my new set of tires and wheels when i upgrade (goin for 35's on 15 steels)

thank you in advanced for all and little help that you provide cause anything will help this guy

If you want a smooth ride the OMEs are the best of all those shocks. The 5100s are best rounded overall... But the best quality shock there is Probably the foxs. They are the most stiff.as.well... The 9550s are the least favorite because they are stiff stiff and TF has known to have qc issies with their shocks.

We've had all those shocks on 4 differerent jks and our fav are the OME ones.

Go with a quality wheel spacer like spidertrax 1.5" 5 on 5 bolt pattern.

For a daily driver, you want an adjustable front trackbar and front lower control arms at the very least.

Yes. You cannot safely run stock aluminum wheels without wheel spacers because you need 4.5" of back spacing or less which you achieve by running wheel spacers on stock wheels.

I have the tf 2.5" coil life and 5100s.....Very happy with the ride quality and it is my daily driver as well....havnt been offroad yet tho to say how it handles

Ordered from northridge and got the 5100 as a free upgrade as well

I havnt gotten a new trackbar or front lower control arms yet since I feel it handles the same as it did stock. I also ran the stock wheels/tires for a little before mounting my 35s. I am running 1.5" spidertrax spacers

here it was on stock wheels and tires with spacers

The Bilstein 5100's seem to be a good balance for on-road. I had the AEV 2.5" lift installed and it came with the adjustable track bar, but I also had the shop do the front control arms at the same time. My Jeep is like yours...lots of on-road. This is a very good setup....and a HUGE improvement over the stock Sport suspension. I can't say enough good things about it because I literally loathed the way it was riding before. Well worth the money spent.
