Default Bent Rock Hard Skid Plate

So I clocked my engine skid pretty good on my last outing. Glad it wasn't the exhaust!

This is what it looks like when viewed from the side, the extension piece is no longer flush with the frame.

I think the little extension piece is actually OK, just misaligned because of the dent on the larger piece. Is there an easy way (i.e. without removing it) to bend this back into place? Hard to swing a hammer in a confined area like that. Or should I just leave it? It cost me 8 hours and some bent hole punches to get the system in place, and I'm afraid if I even take one bolt out it'll turn into a nightmare again.

Add a bolt to the part that is hanging down. If the skid isn't rubbing anything under the Jeep it's fine as is.
