Are you doing this in your kitchen?? Man that's a pretty snazzy granite work bench top
(compared to my 3/4" plywood one) . Great job on the gears so far.

just a thought Did you get a front carrier ...they are not the same you can rig it but the bearings will wear out very quick

So far I'm working on just the rear. The front I will have to wait to do in a couple weeks, so I'll be pulling my front driveshaft in the meantime, but yes I will be getting a locker for the front as well that will work with the 4.10 setup

You are not alone my friend!! There aren't many mechanical tasks I won't try to tackle, but I wouldn't go near an auto tranny or gears.

...na, just jump in that's exactly how I learned to swim...other than it being a bit of a PITA on a few steps, if you've done enough studying and are patient enough it's actually not that bad...I've only been working a couple hours at a time on it over the past couple days, however it could totally be done in a good days work...even for this novice. Trying to co-ordinate timings to get to my friends shop to use his press is what's slowing me down
