I am debating the same, ghostjk. To PR60 the rear or not to PR60 the rear. I'll do the ARB, gears and 35 spline axles in either. Seems like about a $2-2.5k difference to go with the PR60 the first time.

I only broke 1 chromo in 30 spline while running 37's. I was turning the snot out of them and the jeep bounced very high in the air and landed on one tire. I am now running 40 krawlers and switched to 35 spline. I doubt you will have any problems on a 37. Here is a pic of the difference.

Thanks jeter. And that is a 35 spline shaft next to a 30 spline? Correct?

Why detroit in the front and arb in the back? Isn't it better to have the selectable locker in the front?

Detroit in the front because it goes of with the 4wd... ARB in the back so you can disconnect it for street driving.

Its safer to drive on the street without being locked up... it will also make your tires last longer.

I see, but for rock climbs i heard you don't want the front locked if your having to turn. Aka a climb that isn't straight up. So best thing would be arb front and back I guess, that of e lockers?

If you can afford to upgrade your axles I would do it. The 44s are very strong, and may very well be more than you need. However, if you're always worrying about what you're going to do to the axle, it'll make more sense to upgrade the entire unit before you spend money on gears, shafts, and locker. I think in this case, it really depends on how hard you're wheeling it and your sense of security with your setup.

I am in the south east so mostly mud, medium obstacles, trails, very few rock climbing obstacles. Not like out west at all. So I'm thinking 35s no problem at all, but are my 37s on a rear super 44 just asking for trouble?
