Default Beefing up dana 30

I am looking at building up my Dana 30 front axle on my 2007 sahara unlimited. I am planning on the Artec Industries JK Front Axle Truss
as well as the EVO: Gussets/Brackets, EVO Mfg 44 Magnum Sealed JK/TJ Axle Sleeves.

My question is can these two products be combined and what else should I look into for a stronger axle.

The artec truss already comes with knuckle gussets. All you would need would be the sleeves. I personally would get the nitro sleeves.

x2 on the Nitro Sleeves, no drilling and welding required. C Gussets are a must if you plan on running larger tires/wheels. I'm waiting for chromoly shafts until my factory shafts break. Truss kit would be a little over the top if you are putting in a sleeve IMO.

The axle housing truss/sleeves will take care of the housing.Running them both together may seem overkill to some. The weak point is the axle shafts and u-joints,replace with chromoly axles with full ring heavy duty u-joints

It doesn't. At least when I bought mine it didn't . I got them separately.

You do all your own welding when installing the truss/ gussets? Anything tricky?

If you upgrade your axle shafts and u-joints then your weak point becomes your pinion gear. I'd rather break a u-joint or axle than a pinion gear.

Yep. The only way to strengthen the pinion gear is to go with a bigger axle.
