I used Raptor liner with a compressor and spray gun and I was very pleased with how it came out. Don't have any pics but there are other threads about it.

Your thread is what got my attention on bedlining it. I unfortunately have no compressor. Can you rent compressors? With spray/rattle can, did anyone get it somewhere it didnt need to be? If so, does it just wipe off if you catch it quick enough?

Taping and putting up plastic/paper is your friend. But in the event that you did get it somewhere you didn't want to I would think acetone or paint thinner would do the job as long as your fairly quick about it.

Don't forget to bedline the tailgate also. I uses rustoleum spray on and it works well for what it is. Perfect for a jeep tub but not for a truck bed

As far as overspray goes. If you don't sand an area and leave it with the smooth clear coat you can wipe down the over spray with a damp rag, then once the area cures use a clay bar after washing the jeep. The bar will lift off any remaining overspray. Most of the interior plastic the bedliner won't stick so wipes clean when dry. As far as fabric REMOVE your seats! The stuff will not come out of fabric! Hence the reason I have seat covers now .

Yup I had the same idea, and nobody told me otherwise lol. Just remember to disconnect the battery when you unplug the front seats. It will prevent a code from being thrown.

For what it's worth, i used herculiner roll on in my 95 yj and in my Tahoe when the carpet was ruined. I like the thick textured application. Extremely durable after 2 coats. I had a friend who did the spray can version and the texture was sparse and he was not impressed. I believe 1 gallon kits are about 100$ price range and would be enough for a 2 door. Smaller cans are available if you need to add a little extra to high traffic spots. You can take the drain plugs out and then sand them down a little to replace them. Its better to keep the protection on the exposed metal in the tub then leave it vulnerable, especially if you plan to get water in and pulling the plugs often. I would put any bolts in their holes and put tape over the exposed threads. I have a compressor now so i might look into a different option when i get home and get my JK. The only issue i had with the roll on is it uses a special roller and its basically a one time use thing. Someone, somewhere mentioned that you could wrap it in plastic and freeze it but this stuff stinks and i wouldnt want it anywhere in my house, especially near my food in a confined space. It helps to do the application early in a nice weekend to let it have plenty time to air out. Hope this helps in some way. Good luck with your choice and please share some pics.
