Default Bedliner on rims?

hey guys I know this seems like an odd question but here it is. I have decided to keep my stock rims because I really like the look of them, however I want them black to match the Jeep. I have heard that powder-coating might not be holding up on the trail well and I dont have the money for that now. Also on this board a few have painted their rims and from what I read they hold up pretty well and they look pretty nice! So here is my question. Has anyone thought of using a smoother truck bed coating? Something that is not to rough. I was just thinking that it would hide scratches and stuff better. Sand, Prime, Bedliner? What do you guys think? Thanks for your input! Happy Jeeping!

Haven't heard of anyone doing this, but if you try it, the Duplicolor one is the way to go. Easy application and easy touch up (spray version) when it's nicked on the trail.

I thought about doing this for a while, haven't seen it yet.
I would love to see pics, so I'll be the first to post it....

Yeah because line x would be 1/4" thick, that's not feasible on wheels. Sprying with Duplicolor would be like painting it except it would have a slight texture to it , plus that stuff is pretty durable.

but DO NOT have them Line-x ed that stuff DOES scrach and chip and you cant fix it without paying them to do it all over again...

i second Duplicolor
I would use Duplicolor as well, but Linex is supposed to have a lifetime warranty if it chips or anything.
