*$40, sorry. They're showing as available in northern VA so you're set and yes, it's the Craftsman brand but it's been solid for me thus far....deff a firmer feel than my HF torque wrench.

@karls10jk thanks for the tip on the Craftsman torque wrench! Saw them listed for $80 when I went to Sears today. Kinda scratched my head, but the guy price matched the second I showed him the same wrench for $40 on their website. Seems Sears might be going out of business? Or is this just a weird firesale on Craftsman tools? Looks like everything is marked down 50%. Might have to go pick some more things up

Got the rest of the wheels on today. Wouldn't have been able to do it without the fender washer trick, 2 flat heads, tons of soapy water, and a rubber mallet. 120 torqued bolts later...smoother than a baby's butt. Might not need to get them balanced until after my wheeling trip in 2 weeks. Compared to my old, wobbly MTR/K's...these are amazing

Now my back is killing me...time for bed.

So something I saw before with mounting these. Did you take a razor and shave the extra rubber off the lip of the tire? The stuff that's extra from the mold. Someone told me that when I was having this problem and even though it sounded dumb, it actually helped.

I was really considering doing this, but I wasn't really ready to take a razor blade to my new tires. I was really concerned that it would cause a slow leak, and well, nothing is more annoying than having leaky tires. If anything, I think the really tight fitting bead (despite how annoying they were to mount) will prevent leaks more than a loose fitting tire.

I soap the bead and kneel on it as I set it. I'm 6'4" and about 245 so my weight helps to keep the lip on while I make progress with a couple flat head screw drivers (with masking tape on the ends to avoid scratches), advancing my knees as I progress. Usually a set of 4 takes me about 4 hours.

I installed D rated iron man all country MT with soap water and a rubber mallet. I worked my way around it and the last 1/4 was tough but just beat the bead alternating until it popped on.
