I have a BDS 2" lift with new springs. I run 33s. I have been wheeling a couple times in the last year. Once in AL and once in northern NM. I have put on about 13k miles since install. I am completely pleased with the product.

However, I think I should have gone with a 3" lift. A couple times while wheeling, my rubicon rock rails hit the rear tire. Nothing big, but something to consider. I plan to trim my rails at an angle to prevent future rubbing.

I went with 2" initially for ease of entry and egress for my 5'2" wife and kids.

Hope this helps

What else did the kit come with besides the springs? I'm considering this lift/tire combo, and I thought it came with lower control arms, too...

Their 3" kit doesn't come with them, though you can add them. The kit is almost identical to the kit offered by Zone Offroad (I'm told that Zone Offroad is in fact a BDS kit)...the instructions on each kit are almost identical. The BDS kit offers cam bolts as well as front disconnects that the ZO kit doesn't offer, that's about the only differences (besides price) that I see. And, if you are military, BDS offers a discount too! Haven't made my mind up, but I like what BDS/ZO has to offer for the budget conscious buyer.

That's my two cents.

I went with the 6.5" long arm and I love it. The ride is way better than stock and man does it work rock crawling. I think you will be happy with their lifts.

I can't exactly remember. I ended up having the vendor install it.
