That's how I installed it. Without your instructions, I'd still be in the garage!

Well I finshed the BB install today. Luckilly I got to borrow some jackstands. I agre after doing it, it would be very difficult to do it without. Thatnk for your write also Wayof life. The insturctions that come with the kit really do suck. I picked up quite a few pointers on this forum to help me with the install.

Don't use the scissors jack that came with the jeep.. If you don't have access to jack stands.. then use your floor jack to put put cribbing.. IE: concrete blocks and or w/wood 2x4, 4x4, 6x6 etc. under ea side at the 1st frame pad to get the ft. off the ground. Make sure the cribbing stands on its own and try to wiggle the Jeep when you take the pressure off the jack.. IF it moves, you haven't done it right.. It is time consuming but safer.. AND don't forget to chock the rear wheels..!!

But I do suggest You buy or borrow some jack stands...

I agree. I have heard of concrete block cracking. I wouldn't want that while my head was in the wheel well.

Default Jackstands

Check out your local Auto Parts Store. Some like Advance rent tools and if you have a friend in the military have them check you in on their base and take it to their Auto Hobby Shop, tools, lift, everything for next to nothing.
