I have the Banks CAI as well. Made my JKU run stronger on the open road.

I have the K&N with a prefilter/filter wrap (mainly play in the desert) the filter gave a slight performance gain and a deeper rumble from up front..

But if you are looking for performance gains i can highly reccomend you to a get a chiptuner. I just installed the Superchips 91oct Tune on my JKU, huge difference!!.. Good bang for the buck

Thanks everyone for the responses!

Hey Jeepstown... Is that chip easy to remove before taking the Jeep in for service? I want to chip it but don't want to void my warranty...

Looks like the banks seems to be a favorite intake here.

Anyone have a video clip of one of these exhausts and how they sound? I'm curious.

Also like you, I am interested a flashpaq but they aren't ready for the 2011 model year yet. Which sucks because it looks like most gains are seen with these alone..

Hey Kstev,

You just plug in the tuner to your Jeep, upload the tune and unplug it, very easy...

WOL has a great write up here:

However I'm not sure how the tune affects your warrenty, but I'm sure others can answer that question.

I have a K&N for 3 yrs. now. No problems, easy to install and gained the needed hp. Not sure fuel economy changed much.

I have the Banks CAI and exhaust. Works good, can't really say if it gave any extra power but my mileage is good, get 17.5-18mpg and that is with 37s.
I have to say I love the sound. Quiet when cruising, throaty when you get on it especially when you hit about 3000rpm's. That is when it really sounds good.
