Does anyone have the C gussets from Ballistic Fabrication? They are listed on their website for the D44..I'm assuming they will work on the D30 also?? I'm interested in these because they look to mount lower on the top part of the "C" not so close to the balljoint. I'm confident I can weld these on but don't want to risk toasting the balljoints as I have no plans on replacing them anytime soon.

 

They should work no problem. I haven't used those exact ones but i get tons from ballistic. As for welding just cool with a wet rag after very small patches of welding.

 

The D44 gusset should fit with a little work but we have never tested them.

Also if you are putting these on a TJ they do require clearancing the gusset around the coil spring bracket. This is probably also true but a little less clearancing on the JKs. This is a great design by accident because you can tie it into the coil spring bracket for even more strength in the coil spring bracket.
