Just make sure you dont unthread the ends any before installing. I thought I was being smart by adjusting mine to match the OEM length before I installed it and ended up having to take it all back off and fix it.
What was the big deal with that? What problems were you having?

It was likely toed out and he wasn't able to adjust it back in far enough to get the correct toe setting.

Correct. When I adjusted it I simply threaded the ends out a bit until it looked like it matched. Then when I installed it I realzed it rendered the adjustment collar pretty much useless.
