Default Backup Camera placement?

Where did you put your backup camera? Or where would be a good place to put it where its out of the way and no wires showing?

Put mine in the rear bumper (flush mount). I've seen others put it on the spare tire, there are mounts you can purchase.

Default Back up camera

They put mine in my spare tire, perfectly centered and protected by the spare.

I have my license plate mounted in my spare and wanted the camera a bit lower besides.
I ran the wires through a grommet below the stock jack and attached to the receiver on my aftermarket bumper.
This location also makes it easy to back up to a trailer.
It stays put with three little magnets for several years now.

Mind you I have a different tire carrier but it worked out great for me in the middle of the carrier with wire just running on inside of carrier pipe probably can't see it that well from these pics tho.... It's just below the 10" led bar and on top of the carrier pipe where my red light is

Flush mount in stock bumper. Use a step bit so you can make the right size hold in the front. Then you need another hole in the back to get the wires through. Then slit rubber plug in the jack storage spot and run wires up into jeep from there. Tap power from the right trail light harness under the plastic trim.

I put mine in the hitch. Love that it is so low. I can see everything accurately. Cost $50 on ebay for a camera in a hitch plug.
