Default Backspace/offset question.... 15" level 8/33" tires

Hey all, wanting to throw on 15" level 8's with 33's, have no lift, and have been searching but can't find the answer. I'm not worried about poking past the fenders, just don't want any rubbing... Is 4.25 enough? Not sure what I need, and any help would be much appreciated!!

Discount tire direct will be able to tell you and they sell the Level 8's so you're safe with whatever they are selling.

For 15's, you need to be concerned with having enough clearance for the brakes. The general consensus is no more than a 4.0 backspace, especially for steel wheels. Another concern for 15's is clearance for aftermarket rod ends and big brake kits, if those are in your future.

This one is old but has some decent info.

This is true about aftermarket tie rods. I have the 15" Level 8's with a Synergy Tie Rod and had the grind the TRE a little to make them fit. Not to bad though.

Thanks, wasn't sure if they'd know or not

They'd be in my future in a perfect world, but planning on only small mods beyond stock for now
