So I found is a guy selling front and rear rubicon dana 44s with 5:38s electric lockers, teraflex HD covers and gussets with brakes. He's asking 3800 obo.
I am wanting to upgrade my factory set up and this seems to cover my needs (upgrade d30 front, regear, lockers) Is this a good deal or would I save more in the end by just replacing everything with a new PR44 front and just regearing and lockers on my own rear set up? any advice would be appreciated!

Pro Rock 44's are going to be better and you could go w ARB lockers, but you're not getting front and rears for anywhere close to $3800.
Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. However, of you've got the coin for Pro Rocks, go for the 60's!!!!

The PR is hands-down the better axle, and there is a reason that this guy is replacing his built/geared rubi axles, right?
That said, the price sounds a bit high, but you can work on the "OBO". And as you said, this covers your needs in one shot, so it could be a good upgrade for you. Just add the costs of anything else you would want so you can make a fair comparison. (sleeves/truss/alloy shafts/ca skids/hd mounts/etc.)
