If you buy it from a local dealer, you won't have to pay shipping, just tax. If your local Jeep dealer won't work with you on the price, see if there is a local 4x4 shop who can get it through the dealer. The 4x4 shops get a discount and can still make a proffit and sell it to you for less than Jeep. Good luck.

Shafts are included, the gear oil is even there. The only thing I am having to add is the relays and switches to activate the E-Lockers.

I paid $1285 for the front and $1185 for the rear. $238 for shipping. $320 for install.

That's an awesome price man! It may be a while before I can get them, but I'm glad they are an option for us. Thanks for all the info.

So just to make sure....you ordered all this from jeepconnection? How long did it take to get your axles?

Has anyone else ordered from this place? I'm just curious since it's not the best put together webpage.

Yes, jeepconnection. I dealt with Lawrence, he is a really good guy. He got the axles when they came off back order in July. He held them for me because I was doing a lot of traveling for work. I gave him the address to ship them to on Tuesday of last week. They shipped Wed. and I got them on Friday afternoon. He is in Gainesville, GA and I am in Miami, FL so your ship time and shipping cost will be vary. Again, I can't say how nice Lawrence was to deal with and how patient he was holding the axles until I was able to take delivery. He didn't even charge my card until he shipped them last week. BTW, I got the rear put in yesterday. Now to hook up the lockers this weekend.

So I've got an X with with 35 up front and a 44 in the rear. No e-locker's, can I upgrade just the front without any issue?

i was wondering this also, with the x d44 in rear i assume thats the limited slip d44 will i be cool with just the rubi front d44 and keeping my x d44 for now? my other question is the e-locker on the stock units... is it like the "ect"electic locker that i think detoit locker makes? i mean a real locker that is electricaly controled via wire? or some weird brake lock system? sorry if this is a noob question just never realy looked into the stock locker system and i read some weird things early on in the original release of the 07 rubi.

if its a real electric switch controled locker the axle swap sounds ideal verses just the gear and locker addon to the d30 on the x front. i would have to regear anyway i guess though
