Can you buy the d44 for the front with out the selectable locker, just an open d44 with 4:10 gears.

Not from Mopar. Some of the aftermarket axle companies should have one available.

Default D44 flange

When putting the new axle in, were you able to bolt the D44 flange up to the stock flange on the drive shaft or did it need to be converted as well?

Your factory driveshaft will bolt right up to the Rubicon pinion yoke.

Did you manage to get your lockers working after the swap? I can't get mine to activate at all.

Yes, no problems. How did you do your wiring?

I'm debating on it.

buy the Factory switch and factory harness from 4wd.

the most you would have to do is splice it into the factory fuse box, Atleast that is how the e-disco worked. It was very simple.
Then you would have to get your computer flashed at the dealer to make the factory software work. Its really that easy.

My front axle just came in, I'll be able to tell you a little more soon

Ok, absent a right up, here is what my plan is. Can anyone confirm this works.

1) install new front and rear D44 Rubi axles, complete Mopar (as 4wd sells)
2) Install new switch housing and harness that 4wd sells.
3) Have dealer "flash" the system (what ever that means).
4) drive off and the lockers work like a rubicon

Is that it?

thats the theory, .

I think I'm just going to go ahead and buy the harness. I'll let you know how it works.
