Axle Truss or Sleeves?
I am building up my front D30 this winter and was just thinking which one I should do. It is a spare axle and out of my Jeep. Should I do an axle truss or Sleeves?

I've heard sleeves are stronger. I don't know from experience though. Personally I will be beefing up my D30 soon with Nitro sleeves. I hear that everyone running with Nitro sleeves, swear the front end feels more solid/tight after install.

Why not add a truss too! I guess it depends on how much money you want to invest. You might be able to find a 60 at a junk yard for much less.

a truss is significantly stronger than sleeves and the clearance issues are minimal. 1/2" of bumpstop added to an otherwise stock suspension should relieve any worries of the truss contacting the frame.

I am running a 2.5" RC spring/shock lift on 33's now. 35's when these wear out.

I run the PureJeep front truss with an RK 3.5 suspension. No clearance issues.
I like the truss better, from my research it provides more strength than the sleeves.
