Default Axle sleeves

What are the advantages of sealed axle sleeves and C2 gussets? And what kind of work goes into the install. I do alot of rock climbing and am trying to do anything I can to help myself.

They do exactly what you would think they do by thickening the tubes, and C's to help prevent bending. If you are around mud/water often I would recommend the seals for sure. I pulled about 1/4 cup of dirt out of my front axle cleaning up for the sleeves.

Of course I didn't get seals as I didn't know quite how bad they would be.

First off sleeves and gussets are the single best thing you can do to your front axel before it bends. In my opinion.

This adds strength to a weak OEM assembly

It's about 6 hours to instal a EVo sleeve and gusset properly. You could cut corners and save a bit

I had my front 44 beefed up with the synergy sleeve and gussets as well as some new alloy balljoints. After the fact i wished i would have bought some seals and put them in when the front axle was pulled out from under my rig. Do you have to remove the brake roters and everything to install the seals?

I was guessing the seals he is asking about are the evo sleeves. They have an o-ring between the sleeve and axle.
The synergy sleeves don't have the seal, but they don't have a lot of clearance either. If you spend much time with the axles under water you probably want to change the differential fluid.

I was looking at the Alloy USA tube seals. I thought that they plugged the ends of the axle tubes. Is this correct and would they fit if the axle has already been sleeved? Also wondering why there are grease zerks? I need to be schooled. Thanks.
