Default Axle shaft spline count

I have an 08 unlimited x and have a chance to pick up a Eaton e-locker for 200 brand new in the box. It says it's for 30 spline shafts. Dana 44. Are stock axles 30 spline ? Also mine has factory limited slip.

This is for front or rear. ?

The Rubi front D44 is also 30 spline.

Jeff's point was to see if the part was for a front or rear. The rubi 44's are dimensionally different inside the differential so even though it's 30 spline and for a 44, it may not fit. Be sure to check with your seller.

Since the OP was looking at an Eaton for a 44, and since Eaton doesn't make an e-locker for the Rubicon, this will fit his non-Rubi rear just fine.

Dang thats a Deal I spent $800 on mine. I wish I could have gotten that deal. You know if its the old 2 pin type or the new 4 pin type. This makes a big deal in strength.. I know a lot of venders were trying to unload the 2 pin E lockers for cheap. So Just beware, either way its still a deal.
