Axle Build Price... Sound fair to you?
Alright guys I need some quick help... Ive decided on the route I want to go with my axles and just got a quote from the shop I want to do the work. The plan is to drop my Rubicon off this Friday but I wanted to hear some opinions on the price before I have them order the parts.
- Superior 5.38's front and rear
- 35 spline ARB locker and Superior axles in the rear
- ARB high output compressor
- Everything installed, fluid, etc
Quote - $4300
Does that sound like a fair price to you? Thanks in advance.

that sounds pretty high to me by at least a grand maybe 1500 depending on were you go. and you will need to do sleeves up front when you get all this done.

Here is a breakdown of prices roughly and on the high side
- Superior 5.38's front and rear 550-650
- 35 spline ARB locker and Superior axles in the rear 1450
- ARB high output compressor 229.95
- Everything installed, fluid, etc 1000
thats 3330 so that price is really high . But thats just my opinion

500 more for your axle and locker setup / and 550 for labor to install parts they would have to reinstall with your gears anyway other than drill a hole for the air line. plus a grand for a gear job is total crap. i paid 350 with fluid and rtv to seal my diffs back up (heck 4 wheel parts is 700). you don't want to go back in there agian so do the sleeves and gussets while you got her torn apart. i would def go to a different shop. shops that charge more and say it is because they take there time and do it right usally don't ever get it right.

you would not have a cv on your back axle. if they ment front then there would be a difference if it was a rcv.

I guess that is way too much, you guys saved me some BUX so THANKS.
Turns out they already ordered everything (Didn't tell them too), sucks to be them.
I already have gussets, I'm going to do RCV's, a 35 spline ARB and outer sleeves up front just need the money first..
